Easter Egg-Stravaganza 2025

A cracking success!

Despite the grey skies and a last-minute venue change, our Easter Egg-stravaganza was an a fabulous success! The event took place at the Village Hall & school field, where children of all ages enjoyed a colourful Easter trail, egg-cellent prizes, and a lovely afternoon of laughter and fun.

We’re thrilled to share that the day raised a brilliant sum for the Playing Field Fund, edging us closer to our dream of building a new village pavilion. But more importantly—it brought the community together, created joy for the children, and reminded us just how special village life in Tipton St John really is.

It's not just about the fundraising...

Of course, the money raised will help towards the pavilion and supporting future groups—but that’s not why we do it.
The real joy comes from:

Seeing neighbours chatting and connecting
Watching children explore, laugh, and make memories
Creating a real sense of togetherness that lasts far longer than any raffle prize

We’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of East Devon, surrounded by nature, history, and the most wonderful people.
