5th July 2025 \ 10k and Fun Run

A scenic off-road 10km starting and finishing on the village playing field in Tipton St John, following public footpaths and rights of way. This run takes in the delights of the Otter Valley and is known for the great atmosphere (and puddles).

Carol Weaver Fun Run

• Start Time: 10:30am
• Course: Approximately 1 mil. The route is off-road but we suggest adults accompany kids under 8 as there are cows in the field.
• Prizes: all finishes receive a prize
• Age Limit: all welcome
• Entries: through siEntries or on the day

Rail and River 10km

• Start Time: 11:00am
• Course: The undulating route heads downstream alongside the River Otter, through Harpford woods, along the old Sidmouth railway line, back towards Tipton, through fields out to Fluxton and along tracks to the village.
• Prizes: Prizes for every finisher
• Age Limit: 15+
• Entries:  siEntries only

This event is organised by Tipton St John Playing Field Association in conjunction with Sidmouth Running Club. It is held under ARC rules.

Camping will be permitted on the field over the weekend at a cost of £15 per pitch (camper/caravan) £10 (tent) per night. You can add camping to your entry on check out.
